Yes, the Ioannina city bus stops outside the terminal every 30–60 minutes all year, €1.20 to the centre. KTEL coaches to the region, Athens and Thessaloniki leave from the station in town.

Via Igoumenitsa port, 75 minutes west on the Egnatia motorway (about €90 by taxi or a KTEL coach from town), then the ferry to Corfu, about 90 minutes and frequent.

In the car park in front of the terminal, from about €2 an hour or €8 a day, first 15 minutes free. It fills around Christmas, Easter and August.

Avis, Budget, Hertz and Sixt alongside Epirus companies, meeting the Athens flights all year; the cars are in front of the terminal. The fleet is modest, so book ahead.

For Zagori, Metsovo and the Katara pass between December and March, yes: ask for winter tyres or chains when booking. The city and the Egnatia motorway are kept clear.
