No. Zakynthos has no airport bus; the KTEL passes along the main road at Kalamaki, about 15 minutes on foot. Arrivals leave by taxi, pre-booked transfer, package coach or hire car.

About €15 by day for the ten-minute drive; Kalamaki is about €10 and Zakynthos Town about €15. Fares are posted at the rank and rise after midnight.

By taxi (about €25 to Tsilivi, €40 to Alykes), pre-booked transfer or hire car; there is no bus from the airport. Pre-book on changeover days, when the rank empties.

Yes, it is about 15 minutes on a flat road, partly without a pavement. Fine with a backpack in daylight; take a taxi (about €10) with suitcases or after dark.

In the open-air car park beside the terminal, from about €3 an hour or €10 a day, first 10 minutes free. It is used mainly by islanders and rarely full.

Only briefly; on changeover days the forecourt is full of coaches. Use the car park’s free first 10 minutes and check the live arrivals board before leaving home.

Avis, Budget, Hertz, Sixt, Europcar and Enterprise have desks in the terminal, alongside many Zakynthian companies that also deliver to hotels. The cars are parked beside the terminal.

For the sights, yes: the Navagio viewpoint, the Blue Caves and Keri are at the end of long mountain roads the KTEL does not serve. For a beach holiday in Laganas or Tsilivi, the KTEL and taxis are enough, and with no airport bus a car collected on arrival also solves the transfer.
